A Quality Systems Engineer is urgently needed to join a team of highly talented Quality professionals in a growing medical device company in Galway.
The company are well-recognised in their field and are located in the heart of Galway. Due to my client's acquisition by a multi-billion euro technology company a couple of years ago, their site in Galway is going from strength to strength and is home to their global HQ so it is a great time to join the team.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be compensated with a competitive salary (DOE) plus bonus, healthcare and pension contribution too.
What will I be doing as Quality Systems Engineer?
As Quality Systems Engineer, you will Support QMS integration activity across the Galway site. This will include being responsible for coordinating and managing internal and external audits. You will also manage the internal CAPA process. You will develop effective quality metrics and communicate the results. You will assist in the preparation and maintenance of records associated with the management review process. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to be a part of Quality Systems projects, driving compliance and improvements in Quality Systems processes.
To become a Quality Systems Engineer, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific/engineering/technical discipline. You are required to have at least 2 years' experience in a medical device/pharma manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in Quality Assurance. You will have experience in some of the job's responsibilities and can drive compliance across the organisation. Experience as a lead auditor/auditor is preferable.
